Mackinac Bridge Authority Improves Web Site
Mackinac Bridge Authority Improves Web Site
The Mackinac Bridge Authority is pleased to present our improved web site. We’ve added some new features to our site which include a current conditions page, a news page, a live picture of the Mackinac Bridge, and a “contact” us page.
For those who visit the Straits area frequently, our current conditions page will be of interest to you. We will update the conditions page as the wind and weather change. For example, we will post the various wind condition modes such as wind warning, escort mode, partial closure and full closure.
Our news page will present press releases and feature stories about the Mackinac Bridge. As new stories are written, old stories will be archived for your reading enjoyment.
There is a camera in Mackinaw City that takes a new picture of the bridge every minute. This picture can be seen by clicking on the “live camera” button in the main menu.
If you have any information that you would like to share with us or if you have any questions about the Mackinac Bridge, you can write a message on the “contact” us page. If you type in your e-mail address, we will respond to your question.
This is just the beginning. We are planning to add new features to the web site to make your visit even more enjoyable. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to contact us. We hope you enjoy the site.
