Michigan National Guard helicoptors to fly in the vicinity of the Mackinac Bridge Tuesday
To document the crossing of the Mackinac Bridge during a deployment of the Wisconsin National Guard to Camp Grayling Tuesday, helicopters from the Michigan National Guard will be flying in the Straits area around midday.
Representatives from the Michigan National Guard say that the vehicles are headed to the Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center for Operation Northern Strike 2018, a joint activity involving several branches of the U.S. military as well as international armed forces.
Customers of the Mackinac Bridge will likely also notice many military vehicles crossing the bridge in the coming days, also part of the deployment to Camp Grayling.
